Company HistoryD. Carlson Building and Design was established in 1990, is fully licensed, bonded, and insured. Our address is P.O. Box 875 Noblesville, IN 46061. The company is owned by Damon Carlson. Damon started work doing roofing with his stepfather at age 12 and for the most part continued in the construction field ever since. At 16 years old, Damon started working at various construction companies doing different individual trades such as drywall, painting, maintenance, all types of flooring, residential framing, siding, doors, windows, decks, roofing, fences, pretty much every residential (and some commercial) trade you can think of. At the age of 24, Damon enrolled at IUPUI, taking courses in architectural technology and after completing two years in college, Damon decided to start his own construction business. That was 1990 and he has been a General Contractor ever since. In 1999, Damon had an opportunity to get involved with the Fall Creek Place city project restoring abandoned historic homes on the North side of downtown Indianapolis. D. Carlson Building and Design contracted with Historic Landmarks of Indiana, and for the next five years worked with them to preserve the historic homes in this area. Damon is very proud to have been a part of this enormous undertaking and looks forward to continuing this type of work in the future.
